There is no shortage of events and activities in this area. Those mentioned here are just a sampling of all that is offered in this area. Two events that have become annual traditions here at Parkway Inn are our Country Fling and our Ice Bowling Tournament.

Join us for this year's  COUNTRY FLING Saturday, September 12, 2009 (Rain or Shine) Always the Saturday After Labor Day The Country Fling is an annual celebration of country music. We have the big tent set up outside with live music, food and drink. . People come from miles around for this event, and it is a great one every year.

Mid-Winter Ice Bowling Tournament Another annual event that is gaining popularity is our Ice Bowling Tournament, which takes place in February. Stop in or give us a call to check on the date and join us this year. It's cheap, it's easy, it's a great way to have fun in the winter!

Iron Snowshoe Snowmobile Trails The Parkway Inn is right on the Iron Snowshoe snowmobile trail system. It is 140 miles of well groomed trails that stretch from Crivitz to the Nicolet National Forest. We are a natural lodging and trail stop choice with good food, gas and supplies right down the road, great trails, and a central location. There are snowmobile rentals about a mile away.

High Falls Flowage Just minutes away from our door are the inviting waters of High Falls Flowage. There is little development on the beautifully forested shoreline, and it reminds one of Canada with the granite outcropping, tannin stained water, eagles and big fish. This waterway is an outstanding muskie, bass and walleye fishery with several public boat landings. Bait and licenses, boat rentals and a marina with pontoon boat rentals are also nearby. Canoeing and swimming are also popular on the Flowage and other activities include summer and winter fishing derbies, snowmobile radar runs and water ski shows.
